Horses

It's all fun and games, until a cowgirl kicks your butt.
My mother (bottom picture) introduced me to the wonderful world of horses and probably made me catch "horse fever". I have been riding since I was six, so considering right now I am 13, horses have been part of my life for a while! I have ridden draft horses and ponies including Fells, Halflingers and Perchereons, Thoroughbreds, Paints, Palominos, Quarter horses, American Saddlebreds, Morgans, Paso Finos, and many others! I have ridden Western Pleasure, Dressage, English Hunt Seat, and currently ride Saddle Seat. Right now, I ride an amazing ex-show horse American Saddlebred. He is a chestnut with a flaxen mane and long tail. He was a show horse, three gaited, and he just wasn't right for the ring, so now I get to ride him, and hopefully I can show him someday!

As most of my friends can tell you, horses are the main point I am here on this very Earth. Not really, but I like to pretend that's why! I love horses and it comes back to everything I talk about, I wrote a 7 page essay about learning to trot, I related running in a group to a horse herd, 99.999999999% of the books in my room are about or relating to horses, but needless to say, I am not that crazy compared to others, but I have more than the normal 'horse fever' case. Trust me on that one!!!
